I'm giving my S4 I9505 to a 5 year old cousin and i need help!
If i give him my phone in this software condition he will get an S4 running CM13,
TWRP 2.8.7.0,XPOSED Framework and 2,3 modules. I dont want him to mess with that so I am thinking about:STOCK, UNROOTED TW 5.0.1 OR CM13 ROOT DISABLED AND CYANOGEN RECOVERY JUST FOR UPDATING.
P.S WE WILL SWAP PHONES HE WILL GIVE ME AN S6 EDGE AND I GIVE HIM THIS.:):D

Need help unbricking Migo G9199 (MT6572)

I don't think this in an ussual brick. I've backed up my phone with TwRP but after bricking, I can't restore the /system. I have used the sp flash tool, but some how it doesn't work. I have also use ADB to push the stock /system inside, doesn't work neither. After that, I used adb pull /system/ but ADB said no file were pulled, which means /system/ is empty?
I can't take log cat because the phone is stuck in the logo, not the boot animation.
Please help me, I've done lots of googles but no sollution was found.

My G900F is soft-bricked. Maybe. Several attemps doesn't work. Desperately need help.

Hello. I'm a new user of SM G900F (SG). Running on lollipop with latest firmware
Bought it on Dec 26th, the device doesn't have any problem. I was happy back then, jumping form Galaxy Mini 2 to S5 is a big difference experience.

Running on official latest firmware, i only updated the phone once., around 1st - 2nd week of January.
The problem is, on Jan 14th, the G900F fail to boot (bootloop) after i set a new lockscreen from my gallery. It failed to boot, after several attemps, and wipe cache + wipe data, it booted. Haven't backed up my data yet, but i'm happy my phone is working.

On 15th, the same things happened. I set a new lockscreen. It's stil fine. But when a web-browsing on Chrome, the screen is automaically turn off (when not in use in a periout of time), but i immediatey press home button to wake the screen up. the screen didn't turn on, i press the power button. Then the bootloop happened. And this time, i can't go to recovery mode.

I've tried to re-flashing the phone using odin with official firmware, the SG one. But it didn't work. It showed Reset! with blue box on it. But still, m phone is bootlooping. My phone is still bricked. Can't go to the recovery mode either.

P.S: The phone is 2nd handed device from Singapore. I'm an Indonesian, bought the SG version bcs the Indonesia ver (G900H) is still 3G. While the SG one is 4G already. I'm using Indonesian provider (Telkomsel) and works fine on 3G or 4G so i assume the phone is unlocked. I've test the phone imei and it showed that it's the real S5, not the replica one. Antutu test showed 48,xxx score and proved that my device is the real S5 (judge by the name of device written on antutu).

Need help with Kindle Fire HD

My Kindle Fire HD half broke , after booting up the device , SWYPE gets a not responding error and also warns me My kindle fire is low on storage space 90+% full

problem is i can't enter Applications, i just gives me a blank screen , and i've tried to delete the files on the PC via usb , but i think MTP Mode is read only ? can read but can't delete files

ADB is bugged..whenever i go to security and enable ADB... it just switches back to OFF after pressing ON

my last resort is to Restore Factory defaults but i need my backup contacts on the device

basically only thing i can do with the kindle is go to settings....

Soft bricked nvidia shield tablet k1? I need help please

This is my fist thread so please help a newbie out.
I've met a terrible fate. I was not thinking and ended up clearing the system files in twrp. I tried to reboot into twrp through recovery mode but it just bootloops instead of launching twrp. I've tried to re flash twrp through adb on my computer but I don't know if I have the right drivers. There are no "!" symbols and I really don't know how to reinstall twrp so i can flash a stock android os. My bootloader is unlocked but when i type "adb devices" into "minimal adb and fastboot" it doesn't display the tablet.

Screen doesn't work and I need to get my pictures off

Hi there, My nexus 5 is having screen issues and the screen basically doesn't function due to what I can only assume is a bad connection on the mainboard ( if I press in the right area with the back cover off the screen will flicker and work a tiny bit if I reboot the phone.) My issue is I still have tons of pictures that are very dear to me on the device and need to get them off of it. When I connect it to my pc (windows 7) it connects and shows up as a nexus 5 device but nothing will appear in the folder. Im fairly certain I have the correct drivers installed as well. So how can I get it to connect properly with having basically no access to the screen? Ill even paypal you if your answer works for me, thanks

Whatsapp Broadcast List. Techies need suggestions.

I need help with few things given below:

1. I have some broadcast groups on my phone to which I keep sending my regular business updates via phone. There are 256 members in each group. Now what happens it out of 256 only 75 to 100 members in each group receive my pictures which are updates and other ppl dont. How can I make sure every 1 gets my regular updates on daily basis and in timely manner.? Also when I open that web whatsapp online on my PC, I cannot copy all the pictures, I have to download each picture and copy it. Is there a way when browsing whatsapp online, I can download all the pictures with caption line information given alltogether from one single message and store it on my PC.

2. My 2nd thing in which I require help is since I use Samsung Galaxy Note 4 which I bought yesterday only, I need a good phone recorder which can automatically record my phone calls and keep it and I can delete each call recording on daily basis. So which one is the best would you suggest?

3. My 3rd thing is I get daily new ppl via whatsapp for my regular updates. So what I do is spend 30mins to 1 hr sending them all my previous pics updates also from past 1-2 yrs. Is there a way I can avoid that and send all the pics which are like 1000-2000 pics approximately at 1 shot to them without wasting so much time on each of them.

Need Help with replacing touch screen

Hey guys, I Have a problem with my touch screen. It started out with one dead strip on the screen. After a few months it lead to another and now it has a third dead strip on my phone. The third one comes and goes though. This makes it so difficult for me to use the phone and I have decided to replace the touch screen. Now when I did my research there are two things. The digitizer itself and LCD screen with the digitizer. I do not know which one do I opt for and what will work for what. If you guys can tell me what I need to do that would be great. I am going to be fixing it myself as taking an out of warranty phone for servicing will cost too much.

Please guide me through a way that I can fix this as easily as I can.

Do I need to know anything before installing Cyanogenmod?

My sister owns a Xperia SP and it's damn slow(dunno why). I'll try installing Cyanogenmod 12.1 but before I do, I want to know if there are variations in SP where some might be installable where others aren't. So I won't risk bricking it.

Need advice on flashing and root.

A few question , hope the expert here could kindly help to answer as i am new to andriod.

Currently using Telcast original rom
Currently using nova launcher and have remove or disable all chinese app
a) I find the touch screen not so sensitive although usable.
b) Sometime it jam

Questions
1)So if i flash to new custom rom ( Mirek190 V6 Roms) will it help to solve the above problem ?
2)Do i need to root first in order to flash new rom ?
3)If the flashing stop/jam half way or failed , can i still restore to factory default setting ?
By press power and Vol- button to recovery mode

Flashing new Rom . i intend to use back andriod (no dual boot) and use current partition
4) Will be using Flashing system and wipe data option . Is it a good option?
4a) There is a partition table (partition.tbl) in the new rom folder ,will it re partition my internal sd card when flashing the ?

Need a lot of help in advanced wipe .

I did advanced wipe , and fully deleted everything on my phone , now I guess I dont have OS ( as TWRP 2.8.0.0 ) says , then I've tried to put many ROMS in my SD through mircroSD adapter ( bcs I HiSuite not working ) , but whenever I go to "Install" I can't find the UPDATE.APP file , the only thing I could do is update TWRP to 2.8.0.0 (zip) and thats all , it doesnt finds .APP or .IMG . please help me . If its possible do a step by step guide , im in a lot of trouble now , I dont care what version of firmware or ROM or what ever its called my phone will run . Please help me .

[Need Help] [Shield TV 16GB] Cannot log into Play Store on flashing Full Android v2.2

Hi,

I successfully flashed Full Android v2.2 (many thanks zulu99) but now cannot poceed with logging into Play Store or with adding an account (via settingcs>account). I'm able to successfully navigate the add email, password stage of the process but just cannot get to the "Accept" button on the accept terms & conditions screen either via USB keyboard or controller or Shield remote :mad:

Can anyone please help solve this or confirm if they have faced similar issues?

[Need Help] Can't unlock bootloader on Samsung Galaxy Core Prime

Hi, I'm new here and I'm new at rooting/Modding android devices.

So first of all I have a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime (SM-G361F) I got it from T-Mobile and its running Android version 5.1.1

I was trying to root it and the only way i was able to root it was to flash a pre-rooted firmware from Here

Now I wanted to install TWRP custom recovery so I went over on this Site and tried every method listed there, especially the Odin install method. When I go into Download mode/Odin Mode it says:

At this point I got Odin v3. 10 running and flashed TWRP on my device (in Odin I says PASS!), then it restarted and booted normally into Android. I powered it off and then I held the key combo to enter recovery mode (volume up+home+power) and after it vibrated the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime logo comes on with the powered by Android thing and on the top left corner it says in red text "RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING" and nothing happens if I hold the power button for 10 seconds it shuts down and I am able to enter the Download/Odin mode with the proper key combo (volume down+home+power) but can't boot into TWRP or Android any more. What did I do wrong? Any help would be much appreciated.
