Require (Samsung Official) Firmware File Lollipop update for SM-N900 Exynos non-LTE.

In Canada all UI and apps operate in English, the phone has AP= and CP=N9000 UAMDK and CSC=N9000 OJAMDK, Build=JDQ39 . N90000XXUAMDF ; Current installed version 4.3 ; I would like to update to Lollipop 5.1.1 via "ODIN" ;
Which firmware file should I use ? hopefully, the file would be secure, and free of malware, From which website can I do the download ?
The Serial Number within the software is shown as : 01233456789ABCDEF ( I find this very weird ), The serial number on HWR tag behind the battery is: RV1-----041 ;
The phone is region-unlocked, and carrier unlocked. It is not rooted. & The desktop I use is Linux-Mint-17.2 ; Do I absolutely need to ROOT the phone prior to doing the ODIN update procedure ? ( I tried to use KIES utility, but it fails because phone is not recognized due to faulty Serial Number ).

I need QCN file for my Vs985

Hi friends,

My phone has network problem. The problem is that I never connet 2G networks. Before I bought the phone somebody try to change this imei with QPST but he didn't flashed for vs985 he flashed d855 qcn. Therefore I need qcn file for VS985 kitkat. Thanks in advance.

settings.apk file for rooted aftv2

I must say I prefer having no keyboard (null keyboard) as opposed to the pop-up keyboard. is there a working settings.apk file working for a rooted 2ndgenfiretv? is there an xml file I can edit? I know I should wait for twrp but I cant stand that dam pop-up since I have a k400r keyboard.

Edit my scatter file for ebr modification to increase my internal memory of my phone.

Hello there could somebody else help me edit my scatter file of my mtk 6592 device . its a 8 gb device and internal memory for installing apps is left as 1.12 gb and for internal sd card is 5 gb . Could somebody else increase it to 4gb in my scatter file . attached the scatter file of mine. i have modified my ebr with ebrtweak . please could somebody modify my scatter file .

Understanding the correct KDZ file, help!

Hi,

I purchased the phone in the UK from the network carrier Vodafone. I have done a fair bit of research on the rooting and unrooting process mainly via videos and reading tutorials on XDA.

I would like to root the phone and gain super user access and install some Xposed modules but would also like to be able to unroot and flash back to a stock Vodafone firmware encase I need to claim under warranty. I have been trolling the internet to get the correct KDZ file and found this site (ttp://devtester.ro/projects/lg-firmwares/country.php?country=United+Kingdom). I believe that the correct firmware may be on here but am a little confused on what the suffix and software version means to be honest.

The reason for my confusion is that I updated the firmware to 6.0 Marshmallow through the LG bridge but when I now check my phones software version it states v20b-234-15. I assume this is right but from memory the first software version when I got the phone was something like H81510B_00.
I cant remember exactly what it was before unfortunately but the KDZ files I have found state H81510C_00 (Suffix - AVDFVK) and H81510C_00 (AVDFLR) and this does seem to make sense but I'm thinking it was B instead of C but and not 100% on that.

Do you think these KDZ files would be the correct one to flash back to encase I run in to some problems rooting?

I am also assuming that this KDZ is Android Lollipop and not Marshmallow so is it OK to use this to revert back from Marshmallow?
