How to select some part of the text in a whatsapp message

I want to select some part of the text in a whatsapp message. But when I hold a message it is selecting the entire message. But I wanted to select only one sentence from that message. Is there any way to select some part of the text in a whatsapp message? Please help me resolving this issue
