Hello! I would like to install a version of the new Cyanogenmod 13, but I do not know that release install on my device, can you help me?

Infinix hot 2 marshmallow romdump sp flashtool flashable

Many hot 2 users still haven't gotten the Marshmallow update by now, or most of us probably need the stock backup, well thanks to Team Hovatek, we finally have the 6.0 ROM backed up....

For those who are still having issues getting this done with that guide, we have provided an alternative; an SP Flash Tool flashable format of the OTA update.

Note: This is not an official firmware from Infinix. Team Hovatek dumped the firmware of our copy of the Infinix Hot 2 X510 which had been successfully upgraded to Marshmallow (Android 6.0) using the above guide.

Yes, you will. The ROMDump is not rooted and is also running on stock recovery. It passed the System Check test.

Just extract the zip file, format and then download using sp flashtool ( pretty sure this ain't new) or better still use the Firmware upgrade option.

XT1575 6.0 Marshmallow - Bluetooth from car keeps requesting messages access

I keep running into an issue since upgrading to stock rooted Marshmallow on my Moto X Pure.

Every time I connect to my bluetooth media center in the car, it requests access to "messages". Whether I say "yes" or "no", it will ask me the next time I connect.

It is more of a nuisance than anything else, but I would like it to stop, so sometimes I can get in my car without mounting it and have it just work, since right now I need to see the screen, because that message will vibrate the phone about every 60 seconds until I respond.

Has anyone else even seen this issue? I tried wiping app data for various related items, as well as re-pairing the bluetooth, since some apps I restored had problems with the new permissions setup, but none of this worked so far.

[Kernel-Module] [MM] Sweep2Wake kernel module for Marshmallow

First things first: Hey everyone. Some of you may know me from other devices or because of some Moderator related business. Anyways, I recently thought I needed a tablet upgrade and so decided to order a shield tablet. I have been going through some threads, and was actually kinda surprised that this nice piece of technology doesn't have more development going on, especially regarding kernels.
After a few days of getting to know the tablet I noticed one very useful feature missing: sweep2wake, or at least doubletap2wake.
Unfortunately, though, Nvidia did not yet release the kernel sources for their marshmallow kernel, so I can't add it myself that easily. Which is why I had to make a detour adding s2w to the kernel using a module. This, however, has the downside that I cannot prevent the touchscreen driver from suspending, nor get the information whether the screen is turned on or off. Therefore I need a dedicated background service to retrieve exactly this information and reenable the touchscreen driver.

Installation

1. Download the latest kernel module and app


2. Install the app


3. Push the kernel module to your internal storage (/sdcard/sweep2wake.ko)

Usage

1. Open the app and press "insmod"
   --> this will load the module but also set selinux to permissive
   --> S2W is now up and running, but can only be used to turn the screen off


2. Press "start" to start the background service
   --> This will reenable the touchscreen driver when the screen got turned off and also tell S2W that the screen is turned off
   --> S2w will now work perfectly fine as long as the tablet is plugged in or another app holds a wakelock. If this is not the case and the tablet is in deep sleep, you will not be able to wake the device and touch input might not work after turning the screen on manually. If this is the case, just turn the screen off and back on and it will work as usual again.
   --> In order to wake the device at all times, start the service with the "enforcing" switch turned on. This will make the service hold a wakelock while the screen is off. However, your battery will drain rather rapidly as the tablet cannot go into deep sleep


3. To stop the service again, simply press "stop"

Keeping in mind that this is still in a rather early stage, I did not add a "enable on boot" option for the service.

I really hope that Nvidia releases the M sources soon, so I can add S2W and DT2W to the kernel properly.
This module should be compatible with all (current) Marshmallow firmwares, on both the old and new shield.

So I tried Mokee open source rom (Marshmallow version) It's impressive.

I've only been running it for a day now (previously on cm13) and I might actually stick with it... i haven't done everything yet but so far I find Mokee is running smoother and is closer to AOSP with alot of default stuff i had to manually add into CM.

I'm not going to sell it too much because i've only been on it for a day but this is an impressive rom.

One thing i'll mention is it's default in chinese because it's developed mainly by chinese but you can simply scroll up to english and you're good to go. (on the first screen after boot).

Marshmallow and root?

Hi I just ordered my moto x 2014 and it should arrive in few days. I want to unlock the bootloader, install stock marshmallow, root marshmallow and install twrp recovery. How do I do all this? I have read some threads about rooting marshmallow moto x but I dont know what methods work surely and what dont. And I have seen several TWRP recoveries for this what one should I use and how do I install it? Thanks in advance :D

Storage on PC marshmallow - why I can't see the sum of internal and external?

I made my SD to internal
When I connect my phone to PC, I can only see the internal memory.
How could I see the SD or the sum of both storages

Rooting on Sense Marshmallow

Hi, I can't seem to be able to root my phone since I upgraded to Marshmallow.
Been using TWRP 2.8.7.0 and SuperSU v2.46. I get stuck on the HTC logo at boot after installing superSU.
Any ideas?

How to delete/edit apk's in Marshmallow zips

I am very familiar with Android, being a user for the past 4 yrs. I recently got mine back, COMING FROM AN IPHONE blehhh, thank God! I was so used to KitKat editing zips left and right from folders using Winwar. Now on marshmallow it seems that all zips are compressed a bit more or hiding somewhere. On Aosp roms they normally include the phone.apk and contacts.apk and want to delete them and use the Google ones. Need info on how to and what to delete and not mess things up. I can use either RootExplorer or Winwar. Please let a brotha know.

Remove Unlocked Bootloader Warning (Marshmallow)

After the bootloader unlock you'll see a warning message instead of the Motorola logo. This could be annoying for someone, then flash this in Bootloader to remove it!

Marshmallow Manual Camera Problem

I updated my LG G4 H815 to Marshmallow a week ago and noticed that any picture I take in Manual mode now results in a noisier/grainier picture (doesn't matter if it's RAW+JPG or simply JPG) compared to Auto mode or Lollipop Manual mode.

In Lollipop, this was not the case and googling this problem did not turn up any results. Anyone facing the same issue with Manual camera pictures in Marshmallow?

GPS Fix on LG Stock (non-rooted) Marshmallow ?

Hi everybody !

Sometimes, I need to use my phone as a GPS and since I updated to stock marshmallow, GPS fix is really bad (can't fix or takes lonnnnnnng minutes) and regularly (too regularly...) when I drive, Google Maps says "Signal GPS Perdu" --> ("GPS signal Lost" ?) and obviously it's when i don't know the road...

In Lollipop (stock) , I thought that GPS was very bad compared to my old Galaxy SIII.
GPS fix took half a minute and sometimes it disconnects (but less than in MM when there is a fix...) (in the same location my old GSIII took 2-3 seconds and it never disconnects)

oddly, my old Asus TF700t who is on Marshmallow (KatKiss) works largely better than my G3 for the GPS (not as good as the GSIII, but it works really great) but unfortunately it's really complicated to take it on the car...

So, I would like to now if someone has these kind of problems with its G3 on stock marshmallow and if it's the case how to resolve it ?
