[Video] How to Fix Android Device’s Screen Stays ON While Charging

Usually, the Android phone screen turns off automatically while it is charging. However, this might not happen for some devices where the screen stays on, even if you set it for auto shut off at a specific time.

Or, the issue is sometimes triggered as you receive text messages. That is to say your Android lock screen stays off until you receive a text message. With your device being charged, the screen never automatically goes back to sleep. The light gets dim, but it stays lit until you physically press the lock button.

The situation is very annoying, especially at night. So if you’re facing this issue, follow the below guide to fix it.

There are certain reasons that could cause your Android phone’s screen to stay on while charging. These include:

1/ The Stay Awake feature is turned on
2/ The Daydream feature is turned on
3/ Your phone is connected to the computer
4/ The charging cable is faulty

We’ll get around the above options step-by-step, and possibly resolve the issue.

Cyanogenmod 11 on Fire Phone is great except that video won't work.

I have been running cyanogenmod on my fire phone for a while now and it works great almost everywhere. But I can't stand not being able to video anything from my camera, and the still images it takes aren't very good anyway.

Surely someone has discovered a way to make the phones camera work properly, and make the camera work inside apps (like google translate). What am I missing? I am almost ready to (shudder) go back to the stock fire OS.

I installed google services and play on my wife's fire phone (running 4.6.6 fire os) and translate worked on her phone, but google now launcher won't work on it. so I don't know what to do. it is getting really sucky to not be able to take good pictures and video, or to be able to use translate.

Does anyone know the solution?

My Gen 1 rooted Fire TV has been crashing during video playback for months

It is a rooted FireTV with I believe the version before the latest prerooted stock image.

About every 45 minutes, the whole SYSTEM reboots. I have been searching online for months, but all I see is Kodi crashing. My whole device crashes, and it's so painful to sit through a movie with 4-5 reboots randomly. Can anyone please help?

Rotating camera video

I shot a video in which the camera failed to turn landscape. What's done is done, but I need to rotate the video that I tool to landscape now.
Is their an inbuilt capability to do that?
I did try Rotate Video FX app, but it reduced the 60 fps video to 30 fps. So did the inbuilt Video Editor from Samsung.
I am not in favour of a third party app to do something as handy as this. The function should have been included in the Edit option in the Gallery App.
Is there anything I am missing and there is actually a way to do this. Please let me know.
