Cannot unlock bootloader in Moto E XT1022 Indian variant

Most of the Moto E devices can be rooted. But when I asked for for the unlock code in motorola website, it mentioned that this device is not eligible for boot loader unlocking. Is it beacuse I have upgraded it to Android L 5.1 from official update..? what should I do to downgrade to stock rom as I dont have unlocked bootloader.. someone please help...

Moto G bricked after flashing bootlogo

Hi all,
hope this is the right place to ask:
I recently unlocked/rooted my Moto G (2013) and flashed it to BlissPop 4.0.3. Worked very fine!
Now I tried to get rid of that ugly Bootsplash (Attention, unlocked device or so).
Bad idea. After flashing (a package from the Bliss Site via TWRP) my poor MotoG seems so be nearly dead.
+ The ugly bootsplash is not visible any more
- The Screen is black

I can still boot manually into fastboot mode, but every action (normal startup, factory reset, barcods etc.) results in device shutdown (as I assume, display black, no vibration), so that does not seem to be a boot loop.
Only option recovery the TWRP-splash shows up for a few seconds before the device switches off (or does anything else that I cannot see / hear / feel...).

Second problem (that makes things really difficult): adb does not recognize the device any more. I used it to install twrp so I know it worked a few days ago. Now it just reports a empty list of attached devises. In W7 device manager everything looks good: "Android composite ADB interface"-driver installed. I've tried to use other drivers (MotoHelper, MotorolaDeviceManager, UNiversalADBdrivers) but without effect.

Are there any options left? Many thanks in advance for eyery idea!

Moto E CM13 - Doesn't auto update

I flashed to CM13 using TWRP recovery.
I was unable to install the newer updates.
I flashed the recovery to cyanogen. Now every time I download new updates, I have to select the update file manually in recovery mode. Also I am afraid that if I format SD card as internal storage, I wouldn't be able to browse the update file in recovery.
Please suggest what can I do?

Moto X 2014 on ATT

Hey guys! I had something that I felt i needed to share.
I bought the Moto X 2014 on the ATT network, and I really enjoyed it for a few months. Until I started seeing really cool CM themes, and really cool roms. I am fed up with ATT holding me back when I pay them monthly, and buy their products. Why cant they let us do what we want?

If anyone has any ideas please let me know, and for the record I cant buy a new phone, unfortunately its not an option.

[TWRP][merlin] TWRP for Moto G Turbo

I've created a TWRP build for the new 2015 Moto G Turbo. I don't have the device and haven't tested it. Using it is a try at your own risk procedure. Your bootloader must be unlocked to use this recovery. Fastboot mode is used to flash or boot this recovery. To enter fastboot mode, turn off your device, hold PWR and VolDn for 3 seconds, then let go.

Google Now not reading responses using Moto Voice

Hi all,

I noticed that since upgrading to Marshmallow, I have not been able to get audio responses from Google Now using Moto Voice while the phone is locked.

For example, while the phone is locked, I say "OK, Google Now... how's the weather?", it shows me the weather, but nothing comes through the speakers. When I unlock the phone and try again, then audio works. Weird.
I wonder if it has something to do with the new permissions system in Marshmallow.

[HELP]Making ADB work with Moto G 2014

Hi,
My friends Moto G just died and now it is just bootlooping. He asked me to try get contacts through ADB but it is not finding phone.
I installed Motorola Device Manager and it seems that it found phone and successfully used command "get variable", but when I use ADB via CMD it don't even finding phone.
How can I fix this?

Best Moto G 4G/LTE 6.0 rom?

having freezing and data loss problems with saber rom and that rom isn't being worked on anymore, so i thought i might as well make the jump to 6.0

which rom is the most stable? (all hardware components working etc)
which rom will be most active? (aka best support-wise, I dont want to start using a rom then for the dev to suddenly pull the plug)

seems like official CM would be the best choice? but from what i've been reading, it's not the most stable.
wondering on other's thoughts who are using whatever 6.0 rom, and why

Is there a way to get ambient display for Moto g 2014 on Cyanogen?

I recently flashed cyanogen mod 12.1 on moto g 2014 and I can't find ambient display. Is there a way to get it on cyanogen cause it was available in the stock ROM and it was very useful feature.

moto g stuck in bootloop! rooted! unlocked bootloader! but usb debugging disabled!

the title would sum it up guys!. its a falcon! i have twrp installed, but even when i go to recovery it reboot before i can do anything! help please guys! when i go into fastboot mode (i think its called fastboot, idk i am a noob, by pressing power and volume down key) , all options are visible and its stable, i.e it does not reboot! however if i go to recovery, it starts rebooting! usb debugging is disabled! idk what to do! is there any way i can enable usb debugging via fastboot? help please!

i was on rr rom 5.1 and later after that i have flash Stock Factory Firmware Image of same model via Fastboot
i was successfully booted and also received the MM update so i had downloaded it and install it after final step to reboot i was stuck on unlock boot loader warring image so after seeing many threads i have flashed Stock MM Factory Firmware Image of same model via Fastboot as i wanted to sell this phone so i have tried to relock the boot loader so i have tried

all the commands was showing okay while flashing
also boot loader got locked on final fastboot reboot i stuck on boot loop :crying:
and now I can only get into Fastboot mode .but I can't flash anything because the bootloader is locked. and I can't unlock the bootloader because I can't toggle the stupid "Allow OEM Unlock" setting.
please don't tell to visit service center its boot loop image showing unlock boot loader warning
pls help all great devs if their is any solution

Moto G 2015 Use and Throw?

I saw this video on yt. This guy used a heat gun to pry open the phone in order to gain to access to the battery. It's a hassle. Sooner or later we will have to change our battery. Is Moto selling the official battery? Is it widely available or Is this phone just another use and throw? Also, If we change the battery then will it stay water resistant or not?
