myself, being one happy Note 4 user, felt betrayed when Samsung locked the bootloader since COJ5 for Exynos variants, dunno about Qualcomm but I presume it's the same. Past this point we can't go back to whichever official (or custom for that matter) ROM, rendering our choices nonexistant. As far as I am concerned, we possess the phone thus we can do whatever we want, heck, I've paid a great sum of for it! But samsung now says no-no. What gives? It isn't against the EULA afaik, and we have a crippled device now :(
