Searching on contacts going to messages app automatically

Dear All,
I found a thread on another forum and tested on my Galaxy S6 and found it true & strange .

When you search for contact using google search widget then calling or editing that contact after finish or save go to messages app you will find a new empty conversation of that contact. According to that thread it also applied on Note 5 & S6 edge.

Is there any reason for this issue? Is it bug from Samsung or Google Android? If anybody can help. Thanks
